David Buechner, MD, is a skilled clinician and radiologist with specialized expertise in neurointerventional radiology, neuroradiology, peripheral vascular interventional radiology, and interventional pain management. He is highly experienced in addressing injuries from personal injury cases, providing precise diagnoses and tailored treatments for patients facing complex trauma and pain. His professional affiliations include Keystone Medical Group, Traumatic Brain Institute of America, Paragon Medical Group, Paragon Imaging, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, and Indiana University College of Medicine. He also reads for several local imaging centers.
David Buechner, MD, is highly specialized in reading MRI Diffusion Tensor Imaging (DTI) for traumatic brain injury (TBI) assessments, collaborating with local imaging centers to provide precise insights into brain injuries. His expertise in DTI allows him to interpret the subtle brain changes often associated with TBI, ensuring accurate diagnostic support for personal injury cases and enhancing care coordination for affected patients.
In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Buechner leads a research team conducting a clinical trial using regenerative medicine to advance therapeutic options for TBI. This pioneering trial focuses on developing innovative, targeted approaches to TBI therapy, aiming to significantly improve patient outcomes and further the understanding of regenerative medicine’s role in TBI recovery.
His background includes a fellowship in Neuroradiology/Neuroendovascular Radiology at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, a residency in Radiology, and an internship in Transitional Medicine at Methodist Hospital Memphis. He holds an MD from the University of Tennessee College of Medicine and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Christian Brothers University. Dr. Buechner is board-certified by the American Board of Radiology with a Certificate of Added Qualification (CAQ) in Neuroradiology.
Anna Lillig, PA-C

Since joining Keystone Medical Group in July 2024, Anna has specialized in concussion and post- concussion management as well as musculoskeletal injuries resulting from car accidents personal injuries and work-related injuries. She combines her clinical expertise with a compassionate approach working closely with multidisciplinary teams to developed individualized treatment plants tailored to each patient’s unique needs.
Before joining Keystone Medical Group, Anna specialized as a physician assistant in orthopedics and skilled nursing facilities. She has provided comprehensive support in both surgical and outpatient settings, ensuring patients receive thorough evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for both acute and chronic orthopedic conditions. Through her involvement in skilled nursing facilities, she has contributed significantly to patient recovery and medical management.

Melaina Salmon, PA-C
Physician Assistant
Melaina is a board-certified Physician Assistant providing comprehensive medical care in Kansas City, Missouri, with a strong focus on orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions. She specializes in the evaluation, diagnosis, and management of acute and chronic injuries, developing individualized treatment plans using both surgical and non-surgical approaches.
Her clinical experience includes performing thorough orthopedic evaluations, administering joint injections for targeted pain management, and assisting in orthopedic surgical procedures. She routinely utilizes advanced imaging, including X-rays, MRIs, and CT scans, to support accurate diagnosis and guide treatment decisions. Joining our team in September 2025, Delphine brings advanced training in traumatic brain injury (TBI) and extensive experience working with patients recovering from complex trauma. She provides expert assessment and diagnosis, identifying the cognitive, emotional, and psychosocial impacts of injury to create individualized plans that support recovery and overall well-being.
Delphine has worked in a variety of clinical and community settings, including mobile crisis response, forensic case management, and behavioral health programs, where she provided crisis intervention, safety planning, and therapy for individuals facing trauma and mental health challenges. Her approach emphasizes evidence-based care, collaboration with healthcare teams, and patient-centered strategies to help individuals navigate recovery from TBI and trauma-related conditions.
At Keystone Medical Group, Delphine integrates her TBI expertise, trauma-informed approach, and diagnostic skills to provide compassionate, comprehensive care for patients across Kansas City, Lee’s Summit, Overland Park, and surrounding areas. Cindy Lamb, LCSW, CCTP

Cindy Lamb is a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, therapist, and mental health consultant with over 20 years of experience. Through her work with Keystone Medical Group, she provides comprehensive mental health assessments and therapy services for clients navigating the emotional impact of personal injury.
Cindy understands that recovery involves more than physical healing, it also requires addressing the mind and emotions. Personal injury often brings emotional distress, anxiety, depression, or trauma responses that can hinder healing and daily functioning. She specializes in helping clients work through these challenges, building resilience, restoring a sense of safety, and regaining stability in daily life.
Her approach blends evidence-based trauma therapy with compassionate, individualized care, ensuring each client receives support to recover mind, body, and spirit. By addressing both psychological and physical dimensions of recovery, Cindy ensures the whole person is acknowledged and supported during these sudden and difficult chapters.
Cindy is also the founder of the Human Liberation & Balance Institute, where she develops healing-centered tools and programs that integrate neuroscience, trauma recovery, and systems thinking to support both personal and collective transformation.
Megan Schumm, CCC-SLP

Megan is a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist who provides specialized evaluation and treatment for patients with communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders. At Keystone Medical Group, she plays a key role in the care of patients recovering from concussions, traumatic brain injuries, and other neurological conditions.
Megan works closely with patients experiencing cognitive-communication challenges such as memory difficulties, attention deficits, slowed processing speed, word-finding problems, and executive function impairments. Through comprehensive evaluations, she identifies functional limitations that may impact work, school, and daily activities. She then develops individualized therapy plans focused on improving cognitive performance, communication skills, and overall quality of life.
In addition to cognitive rehabilitation, Megan supports patients with speech, language, and voice disorders that may arise following injury. She provides targeted therapy to address expressive and receptive language deficits, articulation difficulties, and voice changes. Her treatment approach emphasizes practical strategies that help patients regain confidence and function in real-world settings.
Erik Hansen, PT

Erik is the Lead Physical Therapist at Keystone Medical Group, providing comprehensive physical therapy care for patients with musculoskeletal injuries, neurological conditions, and post-traumatic impairments. He specializes in the evaluation and rehabilitation of complex injuries resulting from motor vehicle accidents, falls, and other traumatic events.
Erik has advanced training in concussion evaluation and rehabilitation and is certified through ImPACT and Complete Concussions. He performs detailed assessments of vestibular, oculomotor, balance, cervical spine, and exertional systems, while also addressing orthopedic and neuromuscular deficits that commonly coexist with head and neck injuries.
Beyond concussion care, Erik treats a wide range of orthopedic conditions, including spine injuries, joint dysfunction, soft tissue injuries, and post-surgical rehabilitation. He develops individualized treatment programs focused on improving strength, mobility, stability, coordination, and functional capacity, with an emphasis on helping patients safely return to work, daily activities, and recreational pursuits.

Lance Stevenson is the Managing Director and visionary behind Keystone Medical Group, leading clinical and operational teams to provide high-quality, patient-centered care. With over 12 years of experience in healthcare, he has built the clinic as a true medical group, designed to integrate multiple specialties under one roof for comprehensive patient care.
In addition to his leadership role, Lance is an experienced chiropractor who has treated thousands of patients and is certified through Complete Concussions. He developed Keystone’s CORE program (Concussion Rehabilitation and Exercise) along with the clinic’s concussion protocols, creating a structured approach to help patients recover safely and effectively from concussions.
Lance is passionate about aligning teams, processes, and clinical programs with organizational goals. By combining strategic leadership with clinical expertise, he ensures Keystone Medical Group delivers innovative, evidence-based care for patients recovering from auto injuries, concussions, and workers’ compensation cases.

Josey has over four years of experience in the personal injury field and is an essential member of the Keystone Medical Group team. She serves as the records custodian and brings expertise in billing, ensuring patient information is accurate, secure, and efficiently managed.
Her role spans multiple areas of the clinic. She assists at the front desk, supports clinical staff, and helps manage cases from start to finish.
